Common problems
What can go wrong with ice machine equipment
The same symptom can have several causes. A technician tests the operating system before recommending a repair.
Ice will not release
Scale, the harvest system, probes, or controls may keep a finished batch from dropping.
Leaks or poor ice quality
Drainage, filtration, water distribution, cleaning, or leveling may be involved.
Maintenance
Prevent avoidable breakdowns
Maintenance intervals come from the instructions for the exact model and its operating conditions. Heavy use, heat, dust, grease, hard water, and poor ventilation can shorten the interval.
Keep airflow clear
Clean accessible filters and keep vents, coils, and surrounding space free of dust, grease, boxes, and fabric.
Watch for early changes
Longer cycles, unstable temperature, new sounds, leaks, and repeated error messages are reasons to schedule service before a shutdown.
Use the exact instructions
Cleaning products, procedures, filters, and intervals vary by model. Follow the manufacturer instructions for the exact equipment.

I found Andy because my washing machine had been leaking. He came out the same day I called and diagnosed the problem pretty quickly. He ordered the necessary parts and fixed my washing machine in a matter of days. We haven’t had a problem since, we are very happy with his service and professionalism.

Wow! Andrew hit all of the “check the boxes” for his workmanship: He showed up on time as discussed. He is courteous and polite! He diagnosed and explained the issue with our LG refrigerator. He Quoted us a price (very reasonable). Repaired the problem within an hour! He even cleaned up the dusty back of the refrigerator ( which hadn’t seen daylight forever!) Above and beyond customer service! I highly recommend this guy to anyone who asks me if, “I know anyone who repairs appliances?” Give Fix Tech Appliance Repair a call !!👍🏼

Andre is the best tech we have ever worked with. After Samsung sent 3 techs out and couldn’t fix our bespoke fridge -Andre came to our house and diagnosed and fixed it in 2 hours with a warranty and no additional parts. Truly a wizard.
